This article is devoted to the problem of gender modernisation in contemporary Uzbekistan.
The study focuses on the socio-economic transformation of the family institution, as well as education, which
is directly related to the cultural life of the country. According to the author, one of the specific problems of
gender modernization in Uzbekistan is the lack of confidence in the equality of marriage. It is also important
to consider the impact of Western feminism on the traditional family. The author puts forward practical proposals to listen to the personal views of girls before marriage, to ensure economic stability in the family,
to improve the institution of the family spiritually and morally.
