The article examines the regional experience of interdepartmental cooperation in situations requiring the provision of emergency psychological assistance to minors in the context of natural and man-made emergencies. The article analyzes the importance of teaching employees of educational organizations how to protect themselves and how to act in the context of a terrorist act or the threat of its commission, as well as how to minimize the psychological consequences of such an experience. Special attention is paid to the timely and comprehensive response and emergency assistance in situations of detection of attempts to commit child suicide or committed act
