2014. Т. 30. № 4. С. 57–64.
The problem of faith as a phenomenon of consciousness is stated in the article. Noting the similarity of phenomenology of faith and consciousness, the author asserts that there are two types of phenomena both identified by a term "faith" but different by their psychological nature: one type of phenomena is connected with cognitive operations of establishing the truth of some information; another type of phenomena are phenomena of deep personal conviction in something. Application of A.F. Lazursky and V.N. Myasischev's conception for analysis of psychological nature of faith phenomenon is grounded in the article.

Personality questionnaires do not directly record recurring conduct. Rather, they elicit
task-bounded reports of personality attributions: how respondents characterise themselves
using personality-descriptive content. From this perspective, established associations between
self-esteem and self-reported personality may depend on the evaluative meaning attached to
that content. We tested whether attitudes toward the Big Five traits moderated associations
between self-esteem and corresponding personality reports ...

This study aimed to investigate resting-state neural correlates of math anxiety in high school students using a graph-theoretical approach. Sixty 10th-grade students (35 females; mean age = 16.15 years) participated in the study. Resting-state EEG data were acquired using a 32-channel wireless dry-sensor system (Cognionics Quick-32 series). Math anxiety was assessed using the Abbreviated Math Anxiety Scale. Mean ...

And, conversely, the destruction of this consensus is a sign of the loss of stability and divergence of positions of social ...

Hypergraphs provide a natural framework for representing neurophysiological interactions distributed across sets of sensors. A key methodological question is how hyperedges should be defined from frequency-resolved electroencephalography/magnetoencephalography (EEG/MEG) data. We demonstrate a construction strategy in which hyperedges are obtained from canonical coherence (caCOH), an extension of coherence that estimates coupling between multidimensional signal spaces. To ...

Stroke can lead to motor, cognitive, and speech disorders that require long-term correction. Rehabilitation potential (RP) indicates the level of maximum possible recovery of a patient in the given time period. Maintaining RP at the second stage of medical rehabilitation (MR) is one of the important tasks of a medical psychologist. However, current Russian scientific ...

The use of logical calculus as a network (conclusions as graph edges) is proposed. It is fixed that if we consider the so-called post-systems as these calculi, ...

Discussions about the nature of consciousness are mainly conducted within the framework of three hypotheses: (1) consciousness is an independent reality that is not connected with matter by cause-and-effect relationships — dualism, (2) consciousness is something derived from material substance — physicalism, and (3) matter and consciousness are modes of something third — neutral monism. ...
