In this book, the conference papers are presented. The conference “Conservation of ani-mal diversity and wildlife management in Russia” took place in Moscow from 21 till 22 of February 2019. It was organized by Russian State Agrarian University – MTA, All-Russian Research Institute of Game Husbandry and Animal Breeding named after prof. B.M. Zhitkov, Moscow society of hunters and fishers and State Darwin Museum. Problems of today of conservation of animal diversity and quantity; state and future development of wildlife management in Russia were considered. A great part of attention was given to trends and ways of conservation of animal diversity; peculiarities of development of Russian wildlife management; biological, territorial, and lawful aspects of animal resources management, and importance of game animals for the modern society, problems of bio-logical education. This book is for zoologists, wildlife managers, ecologists, ethologists, wild animal breed-ers, and for all who is interested in problems of fauna conservation and wildlife management
