This paper analyzes the position of poetry in contemporary informational context and – concerning this – describes the shift in Nika Skandiaka’s poetry from fragmentation to discreteness through variability. This shift involves translation as a constructive principle of writing and specific understanding of noise (in informational sense). By analyzing the functioning of aforementioned qualities in poetic and informational context, the author tries to reveal the position of Skandiaka’s work in its relations to informational and poetic landscapes, which features are also examined in the article.
