Проэкологическое поведение в России: адаптация шкалы Кэмерона Брика и связь с экологической обеспокоенностью
In the context of a rapid anthropogenic environmental degradation and climate change, research on pro-environmental behavior has become increasingly important. Behaviors aimed at the maximum reduction of harm to the environment, and that benefit it are defined as pro-environmental. In this article, we adapted the Scale of Recurring Pro-Environmental Behavior (Brick et al., 2017) and studied its relationship with environmental concern in Russia. Consisting of 21 pro-environmental behaviors, the scale includes the choice of transport, consumption, personal waste management, resource saving, and social behavior. Based on the results of a survey of 412 residents in Russia, the internal consistency of the scale and its convergent validity in comparison with environmental concern were proved, and its factorial structure examined. Suggestions for using the scale in future research are made.
