The edition is a collection of papers of the participants of the XVII International Congress commemorating professor Igor Blischenko, held in the Peoples’ Friendship University of Rus sia (RUDN University) on April 13, 2019.
The first part of the collection contains materials of the plenary session and sections “International law: New threats and challenges”, “Theory of international law”, “International economic law”, “Integration law in the system of international law”. The second part of the collection contains materials of sections “International law of the sea”, “International air law”, “International legal problems of migration”, “Disasters and international law”, “International sports law. Olympic games”. The third part of the edition contains materials of sections “Regional protection of human rights”, “Human rights education”, “International humanitarian law”, “International criminal law”. Thefourth part of the edition contains materials of sections in English: “Africa and international law”, “International protection of human rights”, “The UN, international organizations and other international structures. Multilateral diplomacy” and “Protection of environment: interaction between international and national law”.
Some materials of the Congress are published in the separate collection “Contemporary Issues of International Space Law”.
The proceedings of this scientific forum reflect the papers of well-known academics and young researchers, which will certainly be useful for professors, researchers, students of law schools and Ph.D. students, practitioners and everyone interested in contemporary issues of international law and international relations.
