Единичная гибридная наноструктура как эффективный нанолокализованный источник света
Квантовая электроника. 2017. Т. 47. № 9. С. 818–826.
We report a brief review of the results of experimental studies on the nonlinear optical interaction of laser radiation with a hybrid plasmonic nanostructure, i.e. a split hole resonator (SHR). We demonstrate second- and third-harmonic generation and mixed-frequency generation from a single SHR nanostructure. The practi-cal application potential of an SHR nanostructure as a nanoprobe for measuring the femtosecond laser pulse duration and designing an all-optical nanodisplay is shown.

Plasmonic nanostructures typically exhibit shifts in their resonant wavelength in response to changes in the refractive index of the surrounding medium. This limits their applications in scenarios requiring stable optical resonances. Here we present a metallic-dielectric hybrid metasurface that exhibits stable multi-wavelength resonance even if the refractive index of its surrounding varies. To quantitatively evaluate the stability of ...

We report the approach to designing the hybrid gas sensor based on the array of vertically-oriented InAs nanowires and gas-permeable film made of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). We probe the sensor performance at room temperature towards isopropyl alcohol analyte, whose highest occupied molecular orbital energy to be in-between the Fermi levels of SWCNTs and InAs, to check the main contributing mechanism. Our theoretical analysis revealed ...

Existing methods for the mass detection of viruses are limited to the registration of small amounts of a viral genome or specific protein markers. In spite of high sensitivity, the applied methods cannot distinguish between virulent virus particles and non-infectious virus particle debris. We report an approach to solve this long-standing challenge using the SARS-CoV-2 ...

In the exploration of collective dynamics and advanced information processing, synchronization and frequency locking
of mechanical oscillations are cornerstone phenomena. Traditional synchronization techniques, which typically involve
a single mechanical mode, are limited by their inability to distinguish between intrinsic mechanical oscillations and
external signals after locking. Addressing this challenge, we introduce a parametric approach that enables simultaneous frequency ...

Concepts of local and global photoemission directivity patterns are
introduced for plasmonic nanoparticles of arbitrary shape, and the relationship between
them is established. Formulas for the local photoemission directionality pattern for
surface and volume photoemission mechanisms are obtained for a given field distribution
in plasmonic modes inside nanoparticles of arbitrary shape. As an illustration of the
theory, the local and ...

Plasmonic metasurfaces form a convenient platform for light manipulation at the nanoscale due to their specific localized surface plasmons. Even despite high intrinsic Joule losses, plasmonic nanoparticles are very effective for light manipulation. Here, we show the lattice of plasmonic nanoparticles onto a dielectric waveguide that efficiently couples oppositely propagating guided modes to circularly polarized ...

The quantum emitter enables the realization of: (1) ultra-bright fluorescence, (2) narrow-band emission down to 4 nm, (3) ultra-short fluorescence lifetime. The fluorescence cross-section of a quantum emitter is on the order of σ ∼ 10−14 cm2, ...
