Changes in geopolitical situation overall and the Russian macroeconomic trends have build up proconditions for the Russian economic policy to improve. Those the new pro-market reforms and an active industrial policy are nedeed in order to accelerate Russia's economic growth. A looming new Russian economic modei is likely to be more dirigiste and protectionist than before. Nevertheless Russia will still be greatly interested in economic ties with foreing nations.
