Передача интероцептивного опыта как переводческая проблема

The paper presents an outline of a principally new field of research in Cognitive Linguistics and demonstrates its relevance for Translation Studies. Addressing interoceptive sensations as part of a person’s subjective experience, the author looks into the specificity of their verbal representation in the Russian and English language, discusses the factors that complicate their translation and offers a number of guidelines pertaining to the choice of translation strategy.
