The research, presented in the paper, determines the capability of Russian mass-media to respond to the transformation of family policy adequately. On the basis of modern corpus- and computer- based technologies in political linguistics allows us to analyze a significant amount of media publications published during several years. "Normative model" of family relations, represented on the pages of state and private media in Russia from 2000 to 2015 influenced by changes in family policy in Russia will be reconstructed. A set of linguistic resources used in an effort to uncover the key ideologies of Russian family policy will be defined. The normative model of family relations will be based on the materials of the particular studied media for the period of a year, in dynamics for the each media, as well as in the context of all media studied (2000 to 2015), which will identify patterns that characterize the media's ability to respond promptly to changes in family policy of Russian Federation. A landmark year for the changes in "regulatory model" of family relationships in this study is named 2006, when researchers began to consider family policy in Russia as pro-natalist, addressed demographic challenges. Results of the study will allow to evaluate the relevancy of media communication activity for the content and orientation of family policy of the Russian Federation, and to formulate recommendations for journalists and political experts, working with the information of media on the issue of family policy
