ДЖ.М. КУТЗЕЕ И ЮЖНОАФРИКАНСКАЯ ЦЕНЗУРА
This article is dedicated to the principal stages in the history of the censorship of South Africa and its relations with South African writers. The author took as an example difficult relations between the censors and J.M. Coetzee, the most popular modern South African writer, the winner of the Nobel and two Booker Prizes. On the one hand, the relationships between Coetzee and South African censorship could be a vivid example of general concepts of the South African censorship apparatus operation. But on the other hand it is unique because of the unusual censors' loyalty to the writer, whose books were never forbidden. In the article the author used the materials from the archives of South African Republic, that were not published in the Russian language before.
