The author of article offers media educational community to reflect over possibility of changing the fundamental bases of media education which are connected with the paradigm of sustainable development of media space. The author is talking about the transition to a new era of civilization development on the basis of a radical change of values and goals of modern society. Such an approach would raise the question: whether it is time to protect the media space from people? Media space, like nature, doesn’t suffer rough and unreasonable intervention. But most people don’t understand that they violate the objective laws of media processes, and it can cause undesirable consequences.
