The collection represents the materials of the 5th International scientifc conference “The theoretical problems of ethnic and cross-cultural psychology” May, 27-28, 2016 held by Smolensk University of Humanities. The participants from Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Canada, Estonia, Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Ukraine, United Kingdom shared their methodological and theoretical approaches to fundamental problems of ethnic and crosscultural psychology as ethnicity nature and formation of ethnic identity, the relationship between culture and individual/group, mechanisms of intercultural and inter-ethnic confict resolution, psychology migration and acculturation, ethnic socialization institutions and the ways of polycultural education development.
