For the first time the maps of air pollution risks by aerosol over the territory of Europe with
resolution 1.0 º × 1.0 º (110 km × 72 km for the territory of Ukraine) were obtained. It is shown
that moderate and high risk levels of the areas that are most polluted by aerosol in Europe (except
the north of Italy) and in Ukraine (Kyiv city, Donetsk and Odessa regions) are related
approximately as 1:1. Moderate risk levels of the regions that are most susceptible to air pollution
by aerosol in Ukraine (Donetsk and Odessa regions) are related to moderate risk levels of other
regions approximately as 1:1.8.
