This article covers the results of a roundtable discussion at the Higher School of Economics (HSE) on the Russian bond market. Key issues and trends in the bond market over the past year were discussed, including macroeconomic risks and new threats to private investors related to the increasing frequency of coupon defaults by issuers. The discussion outlined ways to address the identified issues in order to maintain economic stability in the country.
