Road Injuries Leading Cause of Death Among Men Aged 10 to 39
Worldwide, road injuries are the leading cause of death among males aged 10–39. An international team of researchers reached this conclusion as part of the Global Burden of Disease Study 2023, analysing data from 204 countries between 1990 and 2023. Their findings have been published in The Lancet Public Health, with HSE University Professor Vasily Vlassov listed among the collaborators.

In the paper the mythological space is defined on the boundary of the conceptual foundations of ontology and epistemology. Research undertakes the diagnostics of the field for the possibility to formulate a heuristic potential of the research of space within the “topologische wende” to define the conceptual bases of mythological thinking. The paper is devoted to the concept of mythological thinking and its special characteristic – mythological space. The category of space is considered as ontological and stated in mythological history and order of myth. We introduce the topological method as a method for studying the mythological space, partly borrowed from the branch of mathematics – topology, partly drawn from the experience within the scholarship.
