«Восточные» мифологии в типологической схеме А. Ф. Лосева (по материалам работ 1920 – 1930 гг.)
This article attempts to reconstruct one of the aspects of A. F. Losev's typology of myths - described by the philosopher as ‘oriental’ mythologies - and to identify its basic principles. The structure and internal logic of the typological schemes from Losev's works of the 1920s-1930s are examined. The specifics of Losev's understanding of myth and, consequently, the nature of the typology he constructs are revealed. It is shown that Losev's theory of myth cannot be reduced to cultural or historical-religious perspectives. On the basis of the revealed logic of Losev's scheme and his separate (somewhat disparate) definitions of various types of mythologies, Losev's understanding of mythologies of the ‘oriental’ type as such and in relation to other mythological types is revealed. The possibility of applying Losev's theory of myth and, in particular, the idea of ‘oriental’ myth to modern historical and cultural studies (on the example of V. V. Emelyanov's works) is considered. In conclusion, the connection between the mythologies of the ‘eastern’ and ‘social’ types within the framework of the Losev scheme is described.
