Evaluating inter-rater reliability for hierarchical error annotation in learner corpora
Ch. 89. P. 211-213.
Kutuzov A. B., Kuzmenko E., Vinogradova O. I.
The present research describes the experiment in evaluating inter-rater hierarchical annotation agreement in the Russian Error-Annotated Learner English Corpus (REALEC). It is available at http://realec.org and errors are annotated manually by experts. REALEC error annotation scheme consists of 4 layers: error type, error cause, linguistic 'damage' caused by the error and the impact of the error on general understanding of the text.

The paper addresses the task of automatic morpheme segmentation involving both splitting words into morphs and classification of resulted morphs. For segmentation of Russian words, a new model based on Bi-LSTM neural network is proposed and experimentally evaluated on several training data sets differing in labeling. The proposed model has comparable quality with the best ...

The paper describes the noun phase and anaphora annotation in OpenCorpora and compares it to that in other corpora. We discuss the choice of representative texts for anaphoric annotation and the basic principles of syntactic annotation. In case of noun phrase annotation we followed the scheme introduced earlier for morphological annotation: it was carried out ...
