Für die Theoretiker der GAChN war die synthetisierende Kraftder Form von Belang: Nicht die ›Physik‹
der Zusammensetzung instrumenteller Mittel, sondern die ›Chemie‹ der gegenseitigen Durchdringung subjektiver und objektiver Ziele. Diese beiden Strategien unterscheiden sich wie die Morphologie des Mechanismus von der des Organismus. Ein natürlicher Verbündeter der Akademie ist in diesem Falle die klassische deutsche Ästhetik mit ihrem beständigen Streben, die organische Präsenz des Ganzen im Individuellen herauszustellen.
