The study of the most revealing mental moves and concepts worked out by the scientists of the Academy of Natural Sciences reveals a special non-mythical type of attitude to the classics that arose in the Academy due to the unique constellation of historical factors. The theorists of the State Academy of Natural Sciences on the one hand were in the context of one of the pan-European tendencies of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. 20 century: a return to the rationalistic origins of the culture of modern times. On the other hand, in the field of an unprecedented social experiment in its radical nature. And it allowed them - especially in search of a new philosophy of form - to implement the instructive, non-trivial and fruitful actualization of German classical aesthetics.
