The article represents the results of research of the relationship between satisfaction of public institutions’ work and subjective well-being of Russians. It is found that subjective well-being of Russians affects satisfaction of public institutions’ work in the fields of economy, education, health and politics. The most significant contribution to subjective well-being of Russians has their satisfaction with the economic situation in the country.
