К вопросу обучения и воспитания одаренных подростков
The aim of the study was to examine psychological characteristics of gifted adolescents studying in a boarding school (gymnasium) in comparison with psychological characteristics of gifted schoolchildren from regular comprehensive schools. The study was conducted during 2024. 322 students took part in the psychological testing. The study showed that schoolchildren who have studied at the gymnasium di ered from their peers from ordinary secondary schools by a higher level of social-psychological adaptation: they have a lower level of escapism and more developed social skills. In this study, a specially developed methodology was used to diagnose the level of motivation for studying at the gymnasium. The attention to the study of students' attitudes toward the gymnasium, which we diagnosed using the questionnaire “Motivation for studying at a University Gymnasium” and its impact on students, is due to the fact that the initial attitude of subjects of some activity to the activity itself (work, learning, etc.) has a signi cant impact on the success of this activity.
