The monograph presents the results of a comprehensive analysis of trends in science and technology policy, as well as strategies and practices of public administration in this sphere in foreign countries, conducted by the Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge (ISSEK) of the National Research University Higher School of Economics.
Current global trends in science and technology policy have been identified based on the results of monitoring the websites of relevant government authorities in 40 countries, using the unique iFORA big data intelligence analysis system. The experience of strategic planning and implementation of government support measures in developed and developing countries is examined. Taking into account the studied international practices, proposals have been prepared for improving Russia's science and technology policy.
