The monograph is devoted to the autobiographical documents of poets and writers of the Silver Age: A.A. Blok, Andrei Bely, L.N. Andreev, D.S. Merezhkovsky, M.M. Prishvin, I.A. Bunin, and others. The authors of the articles examine the stylistic originality of letters, memoirs, autobiographies, diaries, and notebooks, and determine their significance in the culture of the turn of the century. Unknown letters by L.N. Andreev, D.V. Filosofov, S.A. Sviridova, and S.M. Solovyov are presented for the first time, as well as biographical materials by Vl. Piast and autobiographical notes by I.A. Bunin and L.L. Kobylinsky (Ellis); the reader will also be introduced to the notebooks of A.K. Gorsky and the diary entries of P.A. Florensky, as well as the memoirs of N.G. Chulkova. The monograph is intended for a wide range of readers interested in the literature and culture of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
