Ценностные модели и проблема типологии смысла (на материале поэтических текстов)
The aim of this article is to clarify the linguistic mechanisms of meaning generation in poetic text and demonstrate the productivity of applying the framework theory apparatus to address issues of meaning typology. Turning to frame theory enables a full exploration of the semantic potential of the text, revealing intertextual connections between statements of different functional nature. The following tasks contribute to achieving the set goal: firstly, conducting a frame analysis of each of the examined poetic statements (texts by American Beat poets: A. Ginsberg, G. Corso, M. McClure); secondly, identifying integral characteristics of value conflicts specific to these statements; thirdly, comparing already attributed statements with texts typically assigned to different semantic clusters (texts by G. Brooks, R. Lowell, J. Ashbery). The proposed analytical framework opens up new horizons not only when working with typical discourse types for linguistic research (socio-political, academic, popular science, etc.) but also with artistic speech genres, especially lyrical ones. The research results may find practical application in interdisciplinary studies of the semantic structure of text, the pragmatics of monological statements, and the mechanisms of group identity formation in text.
