Athletes of many sports who have reached a certain level in their career are faced with the need to communicate with both English-speaking trainers and the press. At present, when the English language has established itself as a generally accepted international language in all spheres of human activity, including sports and everything related to it, young athletes are increasingly understanding how important it is to devote time to learning English. This article discusses aspects that affect the motivation to learn a language in young athletes.
