Российское общество и вызовы времени. Книга восьмая
Based on the results of many years of sociological monitoring (2014–2024), the book provides an interdisciplinary and multifaceted analysis of the dynamics of Russian society's development in the context of external and internal
threats and challenges. It examines the peculiarities of Russians' perception of the situation in the world, their country, and their places of residence, as well as the factors that influence the social well-being and psycho-emotional
states of the general population and their value-worldview segmentation. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the subjective well-being of Russians, the causes of the existing level of poverty and deprivation, and monetary and non-monetary inequalities. In the context of the escalating confrontation with the West and new socio-cultural challenges, the study examines the life meanings and normative-value attitudes of Russians, as well as their
behavioural strategies.
The book is intended for sociologists, psychologists, philosophers, historians, economists, legal scholars, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students of relevant specialisations.
