The development of modern payment systems is associated with the emergence of so-called electronic or digital money. Under these conditions, cryptocurrencies are emerging and rapidly spreading as a means of payment. Currently, transactions with them are carried out on exchanges on many resources on the Internet. This trend required states to address issues of regulating the cryptocurrency market and their turnover. The inconsistency of this digital asset, the need for its state regulation in an increasingly widespread environment determines the relevance of this topic and the study of the functioning features, as well as trends in the development of the modern cryptocurrency market.
