Искусственный интеллект в профессиональной деятельности преподавателя иностранного языка: обучение через кейсы
In recent years, the rapid integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into language education has transformed the educational landscape. However, despite the opportunities these tools offer language teachers, AI technologies have limitations that educators must consider when working with them. Currently, there are almost no methodologies aimed at training future foreign language teachers in the pedagogically sound use of AI technologies. This study aims to develop and evaluate an educational technology focused on teaching the strategic use of AI tools through collaborative analysis of methodological case studies. The technology was trialled in a course titled "ICT and Artificial Intelligence in Foreign Language Teaching" with a sample of 35 fourth-year students. The article describes the case analysis technology based on the theory and methodology of foreign language teaching and proposes solutions using AI technologies. Students reported that working with the cases helped them gain an understanding of both the advantages and limitations of AI technologies. They also noted high engagement and the development of critical thinking skills. The ability of AI to create personalized learning materials tailored to individual learners' needs was highlighted. The author emphasises the need for teacher training programmes to include critical examination of the methodological potential of AI alongside its inherent limitations.
