Ein Arithmometer für Lenin - Die Prawda enthüllt die Wahrheit

In the collection of the State Historical Museum (Moscow, Russia) there is preserved an arithmometer. The plate affixed to the machine is dated December 1920, and carries a dedication of the machine to Vladimir Lenin, the leader of the October Revolution and the founder of the Soviet Union. The present article traces the origin and history of Lenin’s arithmometer and disproves some of the previously established conclusions.
In der Sammlung des Staatlichen Historischen Muse-ums (Moskau, Russland) befindet sich ein Arithmome-ter. Die an der Maschine angebrachte Tafel ist auf De-zember 1920 datiert und trägt eine Widmung der Ma-schine an Wladimir Lenin, den Führer der Oktoberrevo-lution und Gründer der Sowjetunion. Der vorliegende Artikel zeichnet die Herkunft und die Geschichte von Lenins Arithmometer nach und widerlegt einige der bisher gezogenen Schlussfolgerungen.
