Христианский дискурс в «Сказании о Петре волоском воеводе»

The paper concerns the "Skazanie o Petre voloskom voevode", which is a rework of Ivan Peresvetov's "Bolshaya Chelobitnaya" from the 17th century. The paper provides a detailed analysis of the main discrepancies between the "Bolshaya Chelobitnaya" and the "Skazanie o Petre" at the level of the principal manuscripts, demonstrating that the latter more clearly conveys the Christian discourse in its moral, polemical, and eschatological aspects. The study also examines the material context of the "Skazanie o Petre", specifically the composition of the collections in which the manuscripts of this work have been preserved. The author shows that these collections emerged within the church environment and primarily contained works of a church-moral character. Consequently, it is concluded that the "Skazanie o Petre" corresponded to the ideals of culture in the 17th century, which were associated with Christian normativity.
