the article reconstructs the views of Sergey Horujy on the problem of the Posthuman in the context of
the risks and effects of the current stage of digital transformation. The author notes that the philosopher was one
of the Þrst in Russian intellectual space to talk about the approach of a new era with its unprecedented anthro-
pological project. The main sources of the article are the works of Sergey Horujy, which explain the basics of
synergetic anthropology and the philosopher's view on the speciÞcs of anthropological discourse in European
culture and intellectual space: «Essays on Synergetic Anthropology», «A Brief Reader on Synergetic Anthropo-
logy», «Diogenes' Lantern. A Critical Retrospective of European Anthropology», as well as individual articles
and reports by the philosopher on the problems of the Posthuman, virtualization and digitalization. At the same
time, the author draws parallels between philosopher’s theoretical concerns and actual examples of anthropo-
logical changes within the framework of the new conditions of digital transformation, starting with the Covid-2019.
The author of the article notes that the views of Sergey Horujy are relevant not only for the theoretical under-
standing of the anthropological transformations taking place today, but also for the search for possible practical
solutions to minimize the risks and effects of digital transformation. In this context, the author emphasizes that
Sergey Horujy's strategy for preserving the view of human being presented in the Orthodox spiritual tradition is
an original religious and philosophical response to the challenges of the current format of the cultural crisis.
