The study of academic staff support practices was conducted as part of the research project, 'Mirror Laboratories', undertaken by the National Research University Higher School of Econom- ics (HSE). The project 'Professional Strategies of University Teachers in Modern Russia' aimed to investigate the strategies employed by university teachers in modern Russia. The set of practices addresses the need to present analytical and informational materials about faculty development, thereby providing the university community with up-to-date and comprehensive information on the practices of faculty development in Russian universities. The presented materials include case studies of exemplary practices of faculty support in Russian universities, as well as case studies of exemplary practices of faculty development in Russian universities. Additionally, the materials include data on the level and content of support for university academic staff based on the results of the survey conducted at 20 Russian universities in 2024. Considering the presented data, the authors provide an overall assessment of the conditions for the professional development of academic staff in Russia today
