Социальные сети в контексте законодательства об интеллектуальной собственности

Social networks are now one of the most effective instruments in the information sphere and it is very important to understand how civil law regulates rights to the information in a social network. In the article is analyzed whether it is possible to define social network as a database and what the legal consequences of this decision are. The variants of the regulation implemented in legislation and court practice of different countries are discussed.
