Online environment in foreign language assessment in higher education

This study covers such areas as the concept of online environment and assessment, as well as related trends in modern higher education and statistics, challenges that may occur in online education and ways to cope with them, based on research by Russian and foreign specialists. There are also two examples of online platforms Google Forms and Quizizz mentioned, that are used to assess students' performance. An experiment was conducted to prove their effectiveness over the printed version of the test, and results and feedback from students are given.
