Opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in creative industries

This paper studies the digital transformation of creative industries (CI) on the basis of literature analysis. This paper focuses on corporate level, trying to shed light on common characteristics of digitalization among CI. The main goal of this paper is dedicated to the definition of challenges and opportunities, that arise for companies in CI due to digital transformation. Literature search in this paper follows the structure, presented by Li [Li, 2020]. The paper is based on the analysis of articles, indexed in Scopus, that have words “creative”, “industry”, “digital”, “business model”, published in 2014–2020 and cited at least once. The paper presents main features of digitalization of CI, that have to be considered during the strategic development of companies in CI.
