We mark the structural reminiscences of the XXII stanza XI in the Song XI of Byron' "Don Juan" as they can be seen in stanza XXXVIII of the seventh Chapter of "Eugene Onegin", and the emphasising of these traits (that are more pronounced in EO that in DJ) in the translation of the relevant stanzas of "Don Juan" by T. G. Gnedich; that, apparently, indicates that the connection between the fragments of "Don Juan" and "Eugene Onegin", which has not been observed explicitly, as far as we know, by scholars, was obvious to the interpreter.
