The paper considers semantic properties of English collocations with the noun moment in which the attributive element is represented by participial (-ing and -ed adjectives). The issue is analyzed within the contemporary anthropocentric paradigm. The author attempts to establish links between the evolving temporal mentality and an increasing interest in the subjective experience of time, the changing semantics of the noun moment and the growing productivity of the syntactic models under study.
