Method the Estimated Life of Electronic Devices for Control and Communication Systems
The report covers the method of the estimated life of electronic devices of control and communication systems at the stage of their development. Mathematical model of life control and communication systems and electronic devices are provided. It is shown that the value of the life of control and communication systems significantly depends on the coefficient of variation of life of electronic devices.
Many electronic devices operate in a cyclic mode. This should be considered when forecastingreliability indicators at the design stage. The accuracy of the prediction and the planning for the event to ensure reliability depends on correctness of valuation and accounting greatest possiblenumber of factors. That in turn will affect the overall progress of the design and, in the end, result in the quality and competitiveness of products
In this book Lee Rudolph brings together international contributors who combine psychological and mathematical perspectives to analyse how qualitative mathematics can be used to create models of social and psychological processes. Bridging the gap between the fields with an imaginative and stimulating collection of contributed chapters, the volume updates the current research on the subject, which until now has been rather limited, focussing largely on the use of statistics.
Qualitative Mathematics for the Social Sciences contains a variety of useful illustrative figures, introducing readers from the social sciences to the rich contribution that modern mathematics has made to our knowledge of logic, structures, and dynamic systems. A beguiling array of conceptual systems, topological models and fractals are discussed which transcend the application of statistics, and bring a fresh perspective to the study of social representations.
The wide selection of qualitative mathematical methodologies discussed in this volume will be hugely valuable to higher-level undergraduate and postgraduate students of psychology, sociology and mathematics. It will also be useful for researchers, academics and professionals from the social sciences who want a firmer grasp on the use of qualitative mathematics.
Assessment of the durability of microwave transistors
The report considers the issues of forecasting the reliability parameters of modern on-board equipment of spacecrafts. The expediency of using the results of tests of equipment and it’s components for resistance to the effects of ionizing radiation to predict the reliability parameters. Substantiated the possibility of alpha-time distribution for the MTBF prediction of reliability and durability of the CMOS integrated circuit. Shown the calculated ratios for estimating the probability of failure-free operation, the mean time between failure and minimum service life. Given possible ways of increasing the life of modern on-board equipment of spacecrafts by using specialized methods of protection against ionizing radiation of space. This study (research grant No 14-05-0038) was supported by The National Research University - Higher School of Economics’ Academic Fund Program in 2014.
DepCos-RELCOMEX is an annual series of conferences organized by the Institute of Computer Engineering, Control and Robotics (CECR), Wroclaw University of Technology, since 2006.
Contemporary technical systems are integrated unities of technical, information, organization, software and human resources. Diversity of the processes being realized in the system, their concurrency and their reliance on in-system intelligence significantly impedes construction of strict mathematical models and calls for application of intelligent and soft computing methods.
The submissions included in this volume illustrate variety of problems that need to be explored in the dependability analysis: methodologies and practical tools for modelling, design and simulation of the systems, security and confidentiality in information processing, specific issues of heterogeneous, today often wireless, computer networks, or management of transportation networks.
The article is dedicated to innovation ecosystems formation and development. The conditions required for their emergence and maturity assessment approach (basing on the example of US metropolitan area including the Silicon Valley) and the city of Tomsk are revealed in the article.
