The article is focusing on the problem of vocational self-determination in the field of information technology. The model factors that influence the process of professional self-determination is described. The results of the empirical research of the students vocational self-determination in the IT-vocations are analyzed.
The materials of the Russian scientific and practical conference (with international participation) of the University districts "University District: an open dialogue between school and University"? which has taken place at the Research University Higher School of Economics, are devoted to acute issues of the development and progress of education in Russia in the conditions of modernisation and innvation. The article deal with the issues raised both at school and Universities.
The publication is devoted to a problem of professional self-determination, expansion of diagnostic and consulting toolkit, contains the description of a projective technique genogramm, used in psychological consultation with a view of development of professional identity of the client. The opportunity of application of a method at initial and later stages professional is shown.
In this paper we propose two new algorithms based on biclustering analysis, which can be used at the basis of a recommender system for educational orientation of Russian School graduates. The first algorithm was designed to help students make a choice between different university faculties when some of their preferences are known. The second algorithm was developed for the special situation when nothing is known about their preferences. The final version of this recommender system will be used by Higher School of Economics.
