8th International School and Conference "Saint-Petersburg OPEN 2021" on Optoelectronics, Photonics, Engineering and Nanostructures was held on May 25 - 28, 2021. The Organizers of the conference are the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" and Alferov Saint Petersburg National Research Academic University of the Russian Academy of Sciences. More than 300 participants from Russia, CIS countries, Europe and America took part in the conference. The conference consisted of poster reports presented by the young participants (students, PhD students, and young researchers) and topical lectures by invited speakers.
