The need for foreign language textbooks for each profession based on competencies reﬂected in modern federal state standards of higher education is substantiated. The existing textbooks on economic German were analyzed. The basic principles of foreign language textbooks of the new generation are stated.
A continues microelectronics education system has been developed at MIEM. The approach provides all microelectronic products design stages learning and is based on close software/hardware relations and wide collaboration with industry enterprises during education process. The microelectronic products design stages studied inside the microelectronics educational program are considered.
This article examines the cultural aspect in teaching French as a second foreign language in high school. The author shows how to improve the communicative competence of students of language universities. The example of the language courses in France (Chambéry) is shown, attesting to the success of your students with national cultural specific information on linguistic and sociocultural characteristics of speech and non-verbal behaviour. A great place takes a description of the history and culture of the Savoie region.
Students' internet usage attracts the attention of many researchers in different countries. Differences in internet penetration in diverse countries lead us to ask about the interaction of medium and culture in this process. In this paper we present an analysis based on a sample of 825 students from 18 Russian universities and discuss findings on particularities of students' ICT usage. On the background of the findings of the study, based on data collected in 2008-2009 year during a project "A сross-cultural study of the new learning culture formation in Germany and Russia", we discuss the problem of plagiarism in Russia, the availability of ICT features in Russian universities and an evaluation of the attractiveness of different categories of ICT usage and gender specifics in the use of ICT.
