Центральная Азия в информационном поле Китая: «мягкая сила» китайской цивилизационно-культурной и политико-экономической интеграции
The prospects for expanding China's influence in Central Asia in the context of Russia's limited opportunities for influence in the region in the context of the current geopolitical situation make it urgent to identify the main areas that characterize China's interest in the countries of Central Asia as an object of application of soft power. The purpose of this study was to identify and prioritize China's interests in Central Asia both at the level of the region as a whole and at the level of the countries of Central Asia.Based on content analysis of text data reflecting the position of the Chinese leadership, we ranked the interests of the PRC by frequency of mention among key topics. We found that among them, the most important issues in the discourse are issues of security, development of the SREB, cultural and educational cooperation and public opinion, as well as energy and transport, which are of interest primarily to the Chinese side. Interstate events involving China and Central Asian countries have shown China's growing readiness to strengthen its position in Central Asia, expanding its sphere of influence in the region, which creates risks for Russia.
