НЕОПУБЛИКОВАННЫЙ ПЕРЕВОД Б. Л. ПАСТЕРНАКА ИЗ ЖАН ПОЛЯ РИХТЕРА
The article presents and comments on the unpublished translation
of the preface to the second edition of the "Elementary School of Aesthetics"
("Vorschule der Ästhetik", 1812) by Jean Paul, made by Pasternak in
1919 and two years later presumably transferred by him to the
publishing house "Academia" of the St. Petersburg Philosophical Society at
the University. The historical and cultural contexts
of translation, its linguistic and stylistic features are analyzed. The
circumstances of Pasternak's cooperation with the publishing house "Academia"
are clarified — from the origins of its origin in 1921 to its closure in 1937.
Pasternak's translation expands the reception of Jean Paul's philosophical and artistic
heritage in the XX century
