The article deals with the issue of professional identity of future teachers that is considered to be an urgent one in the context of changes in the legal framework of the educational system and in the social conditions of the existence of the pedagogical profession in Russia. The comparative analysis of the questionnaire of the students of the pedagogical program in 2008 and 2018 allowed to reveal some tendencies in the attitude of future teachers to their profession.
