Социокультурные факторы в национальной модели экономики России (на основе социологического исследования по исламской экономике и финансам среди населения России и стран СНГ)
The article «Sociocultural factors in the national model of the Russian economy» presents the analyses of the results of the sociological research held by the economic programmes office of the International Relations Dept. of Russia Mufties Council among the population of Russia and CIS countries, mainly Muslims, concerning the prospects and actuality for of Islamic financial products as part and parcel of Islamic economic and financial model, which is becoming more and more popular among different professional circles in Russia and internationally.
The objective of the research is to find out unprejudiced sociological information about the respondents enabling to evaluate the level of potential demand for the products and services of Islamic financial and economic institutions on the part of the citizens of Russia depending on their age, nationality, religion and other factors.
The revealed level of religious education and level of knowledge of Islamic economic principles and main financial operations, the motivation in decision making enable to evaluate the demand for Islamic financial products and factors influencing it. The article gives based on the research recommendations on the means to raise the efficiency of organization of Islamic financial institutions in Russia.
