Индексальный потенциал национальных языков в русскоязычной финно-угорской и самодийской поэзии
The paper is devoted to the study of the functions of translanguaging in the poetic text. The results of the analysis of the Russian-language verses of a number of contemporary Finno-Ugric and Samoyedic poets are presented. The study has been carried out on the material of the works by the Udmurt, Vepsian, Khanty, Mansi, Saami, Nenets poets. The theoretical
basis of the study has become the concept of language as a translocative mobile resource (J. Blommaert), the theory of indexicality (M.Silverstein), the theory of translanguaging, the constructivist theory of ethnic identity. Methods of semantic, semiotic, stylistic analysis, and the involvement of historical and ethnographic data have been used. The analysis has shown that the ethnic language is used in the Russian text explicitly, in the form of foreign lexemes, phrases and sentences, and implicitly, in the form of semantic loans, word-building models typical of the author’s ethnic language, as well as in the form of rhythmic intonation structures, poetic forms, stylistic devices characteristic of national folklore. The study revealed the semiotic role of translanguaging as a means of indexing the ethnicity of the verses and the authors’ ethnic identity. Indexicality of overtones in the studied poetic texts has been noticed at all linguistic levels - syntactic, lexical, morphological, phonetic and graphic.
