This paper discusses the Consequence Argument for incompatibilism. First, I will state the argument in its most famous form. Second, I will highlight some of the key intuitions underlying this argument. Then I will review some of the popular lines of criticism and defense of the Consequence Argument. Finally, I will try to show the relevance of this argument beyond endorsing compatibilism or incompatibilism.
