Формирование исторической памяти о российских университетах 1990-х годов: свидетельства и их интерпретация
The article focuses on the formation of the historical memory of the life of the Russian universities in 1990s. Thesis researchers, magazine and newspaper articles, statistical reports, as well as enactments document the crisis of the Russian universities. However, none of these sources does not allow the historian to study the thoughts and feelings of the modern Russian academic community. Thesis researchers reproduce stereotypes, journalists interested in the most sweeping changes, and legislation and statistical statements are contradictory and inconsistent. The present study is based on the interviews of Post-Soviet university professors..The authors of the article show information capacity of the interviews. They serve as sources for the social history of the Russian higher education in the 1990s.The The simultaneous appeal to the individual memories, the statistical collections and regulatory framework has revealed the gaps between the "official version" of the past and how it is described by the eyewitnesses. The study of the collected interviews led to the conclusion that the contemporary historian make a point of reconstructing the many versions of the past. This allows the creation of the human-oriented history of a post-Soviet university, devoted to the life of professors and readers.
